Process:
1. Each group member will need to choose one of the roles below:
Role 1: Plant Expert
Role 2: Climate Change Expert
Role 3: Political/Business Expert
2. Each member will need to complete research on his or her field of expertise. Filling out the note sheet that corresponds to each role. (Click on the links above for the note sheets and sources for each Role).
3. Once research is complete all of the group members will need to work together to create a hypothesis regarding the increase in CO2 levels and the affect on crop plants.
4. Now create an experiment that you could use to test your hypothesis. You will need to include an introduction, materials list, and procedure, how you would collect data/what data you could collect, and reasoning behind the design of your experiment. You can use the following worksheet to organize the description of your experiment: Experiment Overview Worksheet.
5. You will then choose a presentation method to show the class your research and the experiment you and your group have created.
